Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in any events, retreats, or services provided by Inekawa Foundation. By registering for or attending an event hosted by Inekawa Foundation, you agree to the following terms:
1. General Agreement
By participating in any Inekawa Foundation retreats, workshops, ceremonies, or events, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Your participation constitutes a binding agreement to adhere to these terms.
2. Participation Requirements
All participants must be at least 18 years old unless otherwise stated.
Participants must provide accurate personal information during registration.
An annual membership with the Inekawa Conscious Awakening Center (ICAC) is required to participate in sacred Ayahuasca ceremonies. The annual membership fee is $150.
You agree to follow all instructions provided by facilitators and staff during retreats and events to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
3. Health and Safety
You confirm that you are in suitable physical and mental health to participate in the retreat or event. Any pre-existing medical or psychological conditions must be disclosed during registration.
Participation in Ayahuasca ceremonies or other plant sacrament ceremonies with Inekawa requires completing a health screening form to ensure safety. If you are taking any medications, have any medical conditions, or are pregnant, you must inform us before attending.
Inekawa Foundation reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed physically or mentally unfit for the retreat experience, including for reasons of safety or compatibility with the event’s goals.
You are responsible for bringing any necessary medications and managing your own health needs during the retreat.
4. Behavior and Conduct
Respectful, mindful behavior is expected from all participants. Aggressive, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without a refund.
You agree to respect the privacy, boundaries, and safety of other participants.
Inekawa Foundation reserves the right to dismiss anyone who does not follow the guidelines or behaves in a manner detrimental to the experience of others.
5. Payment and Cancellation Policy
Full payment or a 50% deposit for retreats and events is required upon registration. Your spot is not secured until payment is received. All remaining balances are due upon arrival to the retreat and/or event.
Cancellation Policy:
No refunds or discounts will be provided for late arrivals, early departures, flight cancellations, travel delays, or illness. If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply without exception. While we understand that unforeseen circumstances, such as injury or family emergencies, may arise, we incur costs when reserving retreat spaces, which prevents us from offering refunds. We’ve designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in case your plans change.
If You Cancel the Retreat:
14 days or more prior to the retreat start date: 100% of the deposit paid will be credited toward a future retreat scheduled within 12 months. If not rescheduled within this time frame, 100% of the deposit will be forfeited.
2-13 days prior to the retreat start date: 50% of the deposit will be credited toward a future retreat scheduled within 12 months, and the remaining 50% will be forfeited.
24 hours or less prior to the retreat start date: No refunds, credits, or rescheduling will be provided, and 100% of the deposit will be forfeited. Participants who do not notify Inekawa Foundation in advance and fail to attend will forfeit their entire deposit without the option to apply it toward a future retreat.
If We Cancel the Retreat:
If Inekawa Foundation cancels the retreat, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid. However, any other investments (e.g., transportation costs) remain your responsibility.
In the unlikely event that we must cancel a retreat due to a force majeure event beyond Inekawa’s control (such as inclement weather, natural disasters, political upheaval, etc.), refunds are not guaranteed and may be issued at Inekawa Foundation’s sole discretion. We reserve the right to apply your paid funds to a future retreat at our discretion.
To cancel, you must email us at info@Inekawa.org and call (321)481-8288 to confirm the cancellation.***
6. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that participating in Inekawa Foundation events, especially Ayahuasca and other plant sacrament ceremonies, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical, emotional, psychological, or spiritual effects.
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation and release Inekawa Foundation, its facilitators, staff, and affiliated entities from any liability, claims, or demands arising out of or related to your participation.
You are responsible for your own well-being throughout the retreat and agree to follow all safety guidelines provided by Inekawa Foundation.
7. Confidentiality and Privacy
Inekawa Foundation respects your privacy. Personal information collected during registration or participation will be kept confidential and used only for the purposes of event organization, safety, and communication.
Participants are expected to respect the confidentiality and privacy of others, including any personal information or experiences shared during the retreat or event.
8. Use of Photos and Media
By attending Inekawa Foundation events, you consent to the use of photos and video taken during the retreat or event for promotional and marketing purposes. If you prefer not to have your image used, please inform us in writing prior to the event.
9. Force Majeure
Inekawa Foundation is not responsible for any cancellations or disruptions caused by events outside of its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, government actions, or unforeseen emergencies. In such cases, refunds or rescheduling will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Florida. Any disputes arising from participation in Inekawa Foundation events will be handled within the jurisdiction of Florida courts.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Inekawa Foundation reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants prior to the event.
By registering for or attending any Inekawa Foundation event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
